DERMAL FILLERS LONDON

Enhance your natural beauty with Dermal Fillers

WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?

Dermal fillers are based on Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally exists in your body, they are used for facial aesthetic treatments and are injected into the skin. Dermal fillers are designed to effectively smooth lines, plump and restore volume, and add definition to facial features whilst simultaneously providing hydration to revitalise and rejuvenate the appearance of the skin. With modern techniques, we are able to provide a subtle effect giving you a fresher, youthful appearance, that still looks like you.

Dermal fillers also help tackle signs of ageing skin. As we age, we begin to lose hydration as well as facial fat, this is a natural process that occurs as our skins ability to renew itself begins to slow. Other factors that lead to the degradation of collagen, hydration and skin structures, such as hyaluronic acid and elastin fibres include genetic factors, gravity, poor diet, sun exposure, pollution and smoking. The more mobile facial areas are usually the first to be affected by this natural ageing process leading to 'expressive' wrinkles, dehydration and volume loss and eventually sagging skin.

WHAT IS THE TREATMENT LIKE?

Your appointment will generally take up to 60 minutes to have a thorough consultation, obtain consent, take photos and perform the treatment.

We use fine needles to inject small amounts of dermal filler into the specific areas discussed in your consultation.

Some patients find the treatment to be only mildly uncomfortable as we take additional steps to minimise pain and allow you to remain comfortable throughout the treatment, this includes using topical lidocaine to numb the area to be treated.
